Grabbagreen opening sixth Valley location

Scottsdale-based healthy fast-casual concept Grabbagreen has just signed another franchise in the Valley.

Grabbagreen signed a franchise ag reement with Stacy and Brad Rendell of Healthy Living Holdings Inc. for a sixth Valley location in Gilbert, at the Rivulon Center off Gilbert Road and Loop 202.

The new location will open by the end of the year.

Grabbagreen now has more than 50 franchise agreements, the last of which was for a location in Tempe.

Since its first franchise in May 2015, Grabbagreen has more than 180 development agreements. Between now and the end of the year, Grabbagreen plans to open at least 15 new restaurants in Arizona, Florida, Texas, California, North Carolina, Minnesota, Colorado, Idaho, New Jersey and Tennessee.

“We can’t tell you how thrilled our customers that drive out to Scottsdale and downtown Phoenix are to be getting a Gilbert location,” said Keely Newman, CEO and co-founder of Grabbagreen, in a statement. “We are excited to have the Rendell’s join our Grabbagreen family and excited to have them represent our brand here in Arizona.”

The concept first opened in 2013 in Scottsdale.
